Medical clinics have multiple doctors, nurse practitioners, nurses, and all other staff seeing several patients all at one time through the day. Schedules must be carefully coordinated and scheduled. When someone runs late, it can effect everyone else in the clinic, as well as all the patients who are scheduled later that day.
