- You are still taking it.
- The dose and directions are staying the same.

What happens next?
Dr. Stewart reviews your request. A renewal is not automatic, even if you have taken the medication for a long time.
You may need an appointment
We may ask you to book an in-person visit or complete bloodwork or other checks before your medication can be renewed.
Allow at least two business days
Request early, before your medication runs out. Allow more time if you need an appointment. If you have run out or need prompt help, call the clinic.

Renewal fees
A fee applies to prescription renewals completed without a visit because this service is not covered by OHIP. Several medications in one request count as one renewal request.
