Often a test will show coincidental findings that need follow-up tests. For example, a CT scan of the lungs may show a cyst on the liver, that then needs an ultrasound.

These follow-up tests could and should be arranged automatically. But they are not. Instead, the needless extra time and paperwork falls on the Family Doctor.

This can change. It needs to change.
