STEP #1 – SET UP OCEAN TABLETS

Set up your Ocean Tablets per their “Getting Started” Instructions. If you have questions or require assistance regarding this process, please contact CognisantMD.

 

 

STEP #2 – LOG IN TO YOUR OCEAN SITE PORTAL

Go to www.cognisantmd.com and log in.

From there, enter your User Name and Password to access your site’s portal.

 

 

STEP #3 – DOWNLOAD THE eFORMS TO YOUR SITE

“eForms” are the template questionnaires that patient’s see and answer on the tablets. The Mental Health PSP eForms are not found on Ocean’s standard library. You will need download the PSP eForms onto your site’s own library.

STEP #4 – SET UP “TABLET RULES”

“Tablet Rules” are programmable sets of instructions to automatically pre-load eForm(s) on the tablet for a patient to complete when they sign in to the tablet. They are part of what makes the algorithm work automatically, behind the scenes.

STEP #5 – TURN ON “OCEAN STUDIES” FOR YOUR eFORMS

If you are part of the official funded Mental Health PSP, then you need to turn on Ocean Studies for some of your eForms. This allows anonymized form data to be uploaded to an encrypted repository for future export and analysis. Only you (and any other users granted access to your site via the Users tab) can access this data.

NOTE: there is usually an extra fee for Ocean Studies, but this is included for those pilot sites who are participating in the official Mental Health PSP. If you are not participating in the project, you may wish to skip this step so as not to incur any unintentional extra charges.

STEP #6 – INSTALLATION COMPLETE!
